About Pat

“Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.” -Thomas Merton

Pat Vitale

Patricia Vitale was born in the Bronx NY. She married and raised her children on Long Island, NY. In 2007 her family relocated to Clover, SC.

In 2015 her husband became very ill and spent much of his time resting. In order to keep her mind and body busy, she started to paint. She took some lessons, but found that her teacher wasn’t capable of helping her do the kind of art that she wanted to express. She found an artist by the name of Jack Bolin and he has helped her find her way.

Pat started showing her artwork at the 2018 Summerfest, in York SC.

She is a member of Southern Artist Society. One of her paintings was featured on their brochure for an art event last fall.

You can see her art work is featured in The Farm Chicks Vintage, located on N. Congress St in York, SC.

Pat has also done several commissioned pieces, which will be shown on this website.

The red in Pat’s hair bleeds through to her vibrant paintings! Pat states that painting has given her a sense of peace and accomplishment, and enjoyment.
